Hi All, thought I'd give you my experience it may help/ give some insight to others in similar situations. 

Preordered the iPhone 17 pro max (cosmic orange) 256bb on launch (Friday 12th, had confirmation email by 1:14pm) so must have been among the first. 

Yesterday throughout the day I spoke to 7 agents throughout the day from sky. Was following this forum throughout the day and saw others with the same device that ordered after me having already received DPD notifications. I have received nothing from DPD just my confirmations from sky last week. 

All 5 of the initial agents I spoke to advised me the device is with the fulfilment house and it will be delivered today on launch or at latest Saturday. I asked the to 100% confirm this and could the gaurentee this for me, all 55 confirmed. 

fast forward to 6pm I receive an SMS from sky telling me delivery will now be on the 26th (still no notification from DPD) 

I call sky again and speak to an agent who tells me this is definitely an error I shouldn't have received this and I will still get my phone on launch as I was in the first batch of customers to order, promised. 

unhappy and now unstrsuing of this response I call back again around 8pm to the final agent of the day who informs me it will be delivered at earliest 26th but more likely could be up to 4 weeks. 

Had to raise this as a compliant with still no idea of delivery (although can promise it won't be today) and a very annoyed new customer. 

for context I placed an upgrade order through EE at the same time for the exact same device. Within 4 mins of ordering had a confirmation email stating I will receive on launch day and an email yesterday from DPD that it will be delivered today - so this is not the standard. 

hope this helps, very very disappointed with sky customer service and 7 contradicting answers. Will be telling people to avoid.

To add insult to injury I then asked sky to cancel the order as up to 4 weeks isn't good enough. I was informed it can't be cancelled as it's with the fulfilment house already (DPD). I then asked if it's with DPD why isn't it being delivered for 4 weeks? "Yeah I see your point, I don't know"

So I placed my order over the phone at 5 mins past 1 last Friday, signed credit agreement all went through fine, I got an email that evening saying the order was cancelled as i requested, so I phoned on the Saturday first thing and they said it seems like a fault as it says I cancelled which I obviously hadn't, they put the order through again and said they will make sure I get my phone on time but to wait 24 hours to sign the credit agreement, so I did signing it on the Sunday morning, since then only had confirmation of everything going though and nothing else, I've came to the conclusion they haven't done anything to make sure I get my new phone today 19th and I'll now be waiting weeks for it because of their error.

I just checked and if you go to order the iPhone 17 pro max 256gb deep blue it still states for delivery on the 19th September

I ordered the basic iPhone 17 in black on the 15th it stated I would receive it on the 19th (today) apart from the confirmation emails from sky I haven't heard a peep. It was only when someone on here advised to check the messages within the sky app that I checked and low and behold the messsge that a few in here have received was in my inbox now saying by the  26th September very poor service from sky mobile tbh.

Morning Everyone... Still absolutely nothing.. No update from sky.. Nothing from dpd... And app jsut says coming soon.. No date nothing.. After ordering 1pm pre order day 😭 and being stated as 19th for delivery... Hope everyone enjoys their new devices today 🙄🤣
