Amount of devices

Does anyone know how lonf an old device remains on your devices list? My contract ended in July but it is still on my list and I wanted to upgrade but it won't allow me too

They drop off your account if returned to Sky. Once paid off it takes a few months for them to clear so that they don't interfere with adding an additional device. If it's stopping you adding a new device now call Sky so an agent can place the order for you.
