Adding payment card to google wallet

Has anybody had an issue adding a payment card to google wallet? Issues either come up as check with card issuer which i have and they say nothing is at fault their end. Or check network connection?

Hi @Matt_1111  have you tried when or mobile data or WiFi or both ?

Yes I've tried with WiFi and when having 5g. Doesn't make sense to me

I have seen this as a solution @Matt_1111 

Remove all payment methods from google wallet
- Reset and reinstall google wallet
- Remove all payment methods from google pay
- Remove all payment methods (or at least the one in question) fully from pay.google.com
- Ensure appropriate permission (location and phone) on the google wallet app
- NOW AND ONLY NOW readd your card to the google wallet app
- You can now add it back to pay.google.com
