Adding a family members Sky Sim to my account to share data

Hi There,

I currently have two sky sim cards registered under my email address.  One is for my Wife and the other for me.  However I would like to have both Sky cards under my account, so I can use the family share data via the piggy bank.  But can't see how to add this??? despite both accounts being registered to my email.  we do have different bill dates.  So would it be a case of requesting a new SIM for her, or if I take her current SIM details and pass them to you to add to my account??? Thus saving having to get the number moved to a new SIM ???

@Frosty085  A new sim on your account would be required

you would then have to port your wife's number out to another payg provider then back again to the new sky sim

As the sims are on separate accounts then they can not be combined as they both needed to have been ordered on the same account for this to happen so as they were then they can not be combined now.

The only way around this would be to you to order a sim via the main account, you wife then to get a Pac code to transfer her number to a PAYG network then get another pac code to transfer the number back to that new sim so they would then both be on the same account.

Re: Adding a family members Sky Sim to my account to share data

Ok so your saying although she currently has a working SKY sim, I would need to get another one activated to another Supplier, get it ported as you say, and then get it ported back to SKY ?? Seems like a long way of doing things?

Why can't her current active sky Sim just be added to my account ??? or another SKY Sim card be ordered and then port one sky card to another ???

thanks

You can't be as I said it wasn't ordered via your account and you can not move a number from one Sky sim to another Sky sim I'm afraid.
