Account in credit

So I changed banks and everything was not being set up when it was transferred over. So I was told my sky to manually pay the bill and in Feb will be OK with direct debit On Friday I did this and on Saturday my account was in credit by £52 I called up and asked about it and told there was an app issue and kn their end not In credit and I'd only paid once He said by Monday it will be fine back to normal Well it's Wednesday and still says credit of £52 Will call to speak to them but if this is the case can I get a refund 🤔 and if so how 🤔? Is there a quick way to speak to them as I have screenshot to show it says I'm in credit Thanks

Manually paying a bill as you did will be the reason you are in credit as I take it that this bill has now been paid so is showing that nothing is owing on it. Should a direct debit fail for whatever reason then Sky will try again 10 days later.

 

For the credit being refunded to get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
