Accidentally activated a new sim when I should have used my existing sim to keep my old number

I accidentally activated a new sky sim when setting up a new mobile when I should have used my old/current sim to transfer my old/current mobile number. I have taken out the new sim and put the old sim in my new phone now so it's showing my original monklable number,  but now it's showing that I have  2 sims/accountss, with the new account  linked to a new number not my old number. What should I do?  Do I need to ring sky?

Hi @Emily+E  yes you need to call sky to cancel the new sim. It can't be done online. Call on 150 from your sky sim.

Hi this has just happened to me when activating my fathers sim - I got an error message when I first clicked to keep existing number and when I went to retry it automatically just activated to new number. Were you able to get your existing number switched over to the new sim?

You cannot transfer numbers within a network.

You either have to port the number out and back to the new SIM or ask Sky if they are prepared to apply the plan to the new SIM (Generally they won't).
