Abroad spend £45 cap
Can you change the £45 monthly spend limit when abroad.
I have changed my cap to £100 but it won't update to give me data as sky have a global £45 limit. Can you change this?

Re: Abroad spend £45 cap
It looks like £45 is the limit so can't be increased:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/data-roaming-spend-cap
When you reach the £45 limit, you won't be able to use any more out of plan data abroad until next month. But you'll still be able to make calls and send texts abroad.
You can only turn it on/off, you can't change the amount.

Re: Abroad spend £45 cap
And be aware that removing the cap potentially leaves you vulnerable to running up an effectively unlimited bill, particularly if you are outside the relatively few £2 data roaming countries.
For reference, £2 per day roaming only applies to the EU/EEA plus the countries listed in bold below.
The vast majority of global destinations are 'rest of world' rate and consequently extremely expensive.

Re: Abroad spend £45 cap
Thanks for the reply. Are you able to amend the billing period so that it resets? I am 3 days away from the normal cycle but only have 2 days abroad left ( in Spain)

Re: Abroad spend £45 cap
If I was to remove the spend cap, and only stay in Spain, what would the data charges be? Thank you

No, it's too late to change it now.

If it's Spain then that's covered by the £2 daily charge. (Assuming you've not hit the 25GB monthly limit)

Re: Abroad spend £45 cap
I seem to have hit the £45 global charge set by Sky, but my monthly spend cap is set to £100.
if I remove the data roaming will this unlock the data again, but then stop when I hit the £100 spend, or will the data charges keep going up and up?
