Hi there,
I have an IPhone 13 Pro Max and 5G has never worked since I got the phone and sim. A little context, my partner has an IPhone 13 as well and while in areas where there is a very strong 5G signal present, she does get a 5G connection, whereas I do not pick up 5G. We have tested this over 4 weeks numerous times, and the outcome is the same - my 5G does not work.
I have been in contact with sky numerous times but they can't seem to fix it or even know why it doesn't work, but I'm going round in circles with them now. We have tried the following;
- Making sure Device is 5G ready
- Making sure 5G add on is enabled in MySky mobile account
- Made sure IPhone Settings are set to "5G On"
- Sky engineer checked my account from their end and everything seemed fine.
- went through numerous settings with the engineer on the phone and all of them were applied on my device
After all this, still no joy. Personally, I think my SIM is broken. But obviously I can't prove it but I can't think of anything else. Any help would be appreciated as so far I've had nothing but issues with Sky since joining 2 months ago which is disappointing

Try to swap the Sims over in your partner's phone see what happens.
