36 month mobile contact

Hi I have a 36 month mobile phone contract with Sky Mobile. Do I have to wait for the whole 36 months to be up or can I cancel at any time without charges? I didn't realise that it was a 3 year contract when I sighed up and would like to go else where as soon as possible but my only option is to swap and they are only offering just over £40 towards the new contract. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

You can only cancel without any charges within the first 30 days so if you are in that limit then give Sky a call on 150 otherwise you are in a contract as you signed the credit agreement agreeing to this contract length as it would have been explained that Swap24 is a 36 month contract. The 24 part means you can swap for another device at 24 months.

You can cancel any dataplan after 12 months (if past cooling off period).

 

The device plan is an HP credit agreement. You can pay this off at any time you like - you can't 'cancel' this.  You own the device once all credit is cleared.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
