2 mobile contracts - sky cancelled my swal.

Apprently reason I have 2 mobile phone contracts with Sky, is they stopped my mobile phone swap deal as I had gone to another network provider for my airtime during the swap.

At no point when I gave my notice to leave the airtime deal was I told this by the sky advisor.

Sky have point blank said i cannot do anything to solve the phone contract problem whilst i have no airtime contract with them.

I am togally unwilling to pay both. I see it as their mistake not mine. So why should i suffer financial hardship.

What can I do?

So you have 2 phones in your possession?

Yes. I had started the swap and that involves sending old one back which fully pays off first contract, leaving you with only the one new contract.

Issue is the process was cancelled by SKY before i could send old phobe back. This leaves me with both phones and both contracts.

I only need and can only afford 1. If i try to sell the old phone privatly elsewhere and pay off my fjrsr contract, the value is £200 less to sell than the contract and that costs me. I am unwilling for this SKY error to even cost me 1p.

I just want to send the old phone back to fully pay off old contract.

Are you still within your cooling off period for the new phone?  (31 days)

If so, simply call them and cancel that contract?

There is no requirement to have their dataplan's that I'm aware of.

Private values tend to be higher than the Sky trade in value.  I suspect you'd have a similar situation even if Sky did take it once inspected?  (Swap contracts do not guarantee the trade in value of the phone - although if you trade at the expected time it should cover the residual credit)   Any shortfall is immediately payable on the next bill.

Re: 2 mobile contracts - sky cancelled my swal.

I am in the 31 days and I could try that.

However, I have been using to new phone and its accesories withthe deal. Its all unboxed and used.

I dont think I can send it back used and have the phone contract cancelled?

I was also unaware of the airtime contract requirement  untill i asked an advisor yesterday why my swslap was cancelled.

Yes, you can.  However, the value may be reduced.  https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancelling-sky-mobile

If so, then its a non option. I will refuse any solution that leaves me owing sky money,  their mistake, not at my cost.

Just spoken to 4 people at sky, non could help so i have raised a complaint. If its not solved on the callback monday. I will send both phones back and cancel my direct debit as ny enforced solution.
