2 different numbers

Recently brought an iphone & apple watch, choose to keep my number from o2. Everything else works fine but when I imessage someone its coming through a different number. When I go into my settings to imessage its showing a different number and hasn't got the option for my actual number. Any advice what can I do?

Try resetting the network settings.

Go Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.Then go to Settings - Phone - My Number and change it if it is wrong, then reboot the phone. You will need to set up your Wifi connection again.

thankyou, ive reset my network settings but can't find anywhere on my settings to say the numbers still wrong?

Hi @Db53  have you checked in settings, phone, my number ? If it's wrong try changing it then save exit and restart your phone, it sometimes takes quite a few attempts to save.

On an iphone it can be found via Settings > Mobile Service > My number.
