Re: Why Sky Go reduced the number of derives from 6 to 4 without telling customers

I had this issue for two months, couldn't remove any devices, couldn't watch anything on Sky Go.  It eventually started working again as I suspect Sky finally fixed my broken account.  I phoned them a number of times and raised a complaint.  Never heard from them that it was fixed, just kept trying the app until one day it worked again.

If you have reported the issue to Sky, I just hope they get round to finally fixing it like they did mine.

This aligns with my view actually and that it is not the app itself. You had exactly the same symptoms as me and at least your issue has been resolved.

I discovered via other threads in these forums that devices automatically age out after a few months if it isn't used. So I suspect Sky didn't "fix" anything. The devices aged out, and then your account had capacity to add a new device.
