Hi all
This offer popped up on our Home Screen on Sky Q so I went to do it on tv but all links lead to the MySky / VIP app....
When I try to do it from the app I get an error msg that is so small I can't fully read it but I think it says unable to process followed by some sort of code.
Any help / ideas appreciated as assuming sky customer services is not an option..
I've seen similar issues on here and people having to reset settings etc, but not sure if this applies to us - we don't yet have the app and want to take up this specific offer.

I'm having a similar problem but in my case the MySKy app is telling me I don't qualify for Sky VIP despite this site telling me I'm a Platinum VIP member.

I'm trying to redeem the AppleTV offer and get as far as entering ID and password then the wheel just continues to spin and I can't progress to the next screen.
Anyone else having this difficulty?

Same issue. Laptop, desktop, tablet, VIP app, chrome, android, apple..... just spins endlessly.
More poor implementation from Sky.

I had this problem. If you have created a new AppleID just for this then you need to "validate" it by logging into itunes with the new AppleID. Other apps may work but I installed itunes and it said I needed to verify the account. After this the redeem link then worked for me.
I uninstalled itunes afterwards

Just tried the redeem from the My Sky app. Getting a similar issue where after clicking redeem it just hangs on the apple screen.
Someone from sky needs to respond on this post with the solution.
Already have all the necessary accounts on apple/iTunes so can't try that

Very irritating problem. Glad it's not me being thick. Sky need to respond.

Tried several times since, same outcome. Still no reply from Sky.
Try to contact them, online chat never available and call wait time up to 1 hour according to the recorded message on their telephony platform. Too many companies hiding behind Covid as an excuse for bad service still.
They play up the whole VIP thing (diamond member) as valued customers....yeah right

Plot thickens.....managed to get on to online chat. Whilst the lovely Brenda is checking into my problem I thought I'd try and copy/paste the URL that's generated in the giveaways section of the My Sky app. Pasted into a **bleep** safari window and immediately took me to Apple Pay page to set up my subscription after the three months.....YEY....
then came up to say offer only available to new subscribers....BOO
will post on how I get on from this point

I've tried contacting sky all you get from them is it's a third party app and not their problem typical so after 40minutes talking to Apple and I hope this was free of sky Will get the bill we activated it on two fire sticks upstairs then came back to the sky A box and guess what it still doesn't work so Apple have said it's about time sky got it's act together by answering the questions when asked. Ps also had same problem with A box when brig box was advertised so they haven't learnt anything

Did you get the 3 months free as when I did everything it said on the activation page it was only 1 month free?

I found the three months activation on my Apple account as first payment is due in July and yes I have finally activated my sky Q box it's a pity sky can't sort out the remote network failure I've just spent 10 minutes trying to down load a program in the end I Sent upstairs and watched it on my fire stick so it's not a internet problem as Q box is hard wired fire stick is not but then I've been complaining of this for at least 3 years so I don't expect any progress soon

I did eventually get sorted out, typed the link in manually on my ipad and took it from there.
Something that should have been simple was an arduous task!
Don't know if switching from trying on Android device to trying on Apple device made the difference.
