Stuck on Downloading Update Page

I have tried reinstalling multiple times, deleting both the installer app and app itself but no matter what I get stuck on the downloading update page everytime and cannot move past it. 

This is on a Mac by the way.

Why do you think this is an apple issue out of curiosity? Would it not be an app problem?

Sorry, I misread your post.

Have you tried rebooting your Mac and then trying again to install the Sky Go app ?

Yes have tried all that too! It just doesn't seem to move past the downloading update page.
