Sky Go, Sky Q recordings and PIN

So, I've disabled the PIN (as much as you can do) on our Sky Q boxes.

This works as expected, you get asked for the PIN now and again.

So lets pick something like a recording of Blue Bloods.  I don't get asked for the PIN when watching this on our Sky Q boxes.

If however I try to watch this via Sky Go (on the laptop in the study) via the recordings options.  So watching the recording on the Sky Q box, not downloading on demand.  I am asked for a PIN.

Is there a reason for this?  Have I missed a Sky Go setting somewhere.

It's not the end of the world, just wondered why the difference.

If the Sky Go app is not connected to a Sky Q box then the pin for it can be reset here:

I don't want to change the PIN and I believe I've set all the parent controls.

I just wondered why there was a difference between watching the recording directly on the Sky Q box (doesn't require a PIN) compared to watching the recording from the Sky Q box on Sky Go (does require a PIN).
