Sky go download not working on mac m2 Sequoia

Hello everybody, I am trying to download Sky go on my newly purchased (13 days ago) macbook air m2. i have macOS Sequoia 15.1.1 and when I go to the website to download it, it downloads the installer, and when I start the installer it begins and reaches 100% but then nothing happens and there is no application on the macbook (I even checked the Application Support folder and there is no Sky go folder). It seems like my laptop is not compatible with the application, even though it is new and I have friends with the same laptop with m1 processor whom have and use Sky go. What can I do? I tried to talk to the Sky assistance but they were not very helpful.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.

This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.

Ciao a tutti,  anche io sto provando a scaricare Sky go sul mio nuovo  macbook air m3. Ho macOS Sequoia 15.1.1 e quando vado sul sito web per scaricarlo, scarica l'installer, e quando avvio l'installer inizia e raggiunge il 100% ma poi non succede nulla e non c'è nessuna applicazione sul macbook (ho anche controllato la cartella Application Support e non c'è la cartella Sky go). Sembra che il mio laptop non sia compatibile con l'applicazione, anche se è nuovo e ho amici con lo stesso laptop con processore m1 che hanno e usano Sky go. Cosa posso fare?

I have the same problem also on a Mac Sequoia 15.1.1. So can you also invite me please on the "private chat" for resolutioning

I have exactly the same problem with my new MacBook Air. I have tried seeking help but to no avail. The installer will simply not download. 

I'd like a chat with an actual person if that's possible?

I have posted the following on a similar Sky Community discussion. There seem to be a lot of people who cannot get the Sky Go App to work on Macs running Sequoia........

Day one of trying to get the Sky Go App to work on a Mini Mac running Mac OS Sequoia. I have spent hours installing/uninstalling/ trying to follow other users advice etc. NOTHING WORKS!!

Repeated error messages saying 'could not connect' Error 001. Try Again. Contacted Sky Technical Dept by phone but they could not help. Like many others, I subscribe to Sky to watch Sport [Football] on my Computer. Now I am paying for a service that does not work at all.... Disappointed and frustrated. Any ideas?
