Re: Sky go app not working
I have been having problems with sky go app on my pc since october 2024. 3rd call today 22/2/25 as the apps not worked for 3 weeks now *( its only worked for 7 days in total since 20 October 2024 ). Was promised a call back to see if it was working twice now, and no call. Today I have been told my complaint is still open, with no resolve date ! I was told many people are complaining the sky go is not working on laptops or pc's. Any idea how long until sky go is working, as that is currently the only way I can watch TV as I am staying with friends. Surely the problem has to be rectified soon, I mean 4 months for it not to be working is quite a long time - I await your reply with anticipation.

I found help on here yesterday somewhere and my profound apologies to the kind person who suggested this ..... if I find you again , I shall shower you with credit !
This worked for me after 3 hours back and forth from Apple and Sky ! I gave up and found this suggestion in this Community!
"A follow up having spoken to Apple's Senior Support, they found me a proper fix.
For anyone still seeing this issue - please try the following:
1, From your desktop, select Go from the top toolbar
2, Press and hold the Option key on your keyboard **This is really important - it allows you to access folders on your Mac's Hard Drive rather than your user folder** 3, Select Library
4, Open the Application Support folder
5, Find the Sky Go folder
6, Move everything IN the Sky Go folder to your trash. **Don't take the enclosing folder, just its contents** - anecdotally, incase it helps somone identify the contents, the first folder/file in this folder for me is called "blob_storage" and the last is "WebStorage"
7, No need to empty your trash bin, just restart your Mac
When you next open Sky Go you should be given the option to select cookies and then log in."
