Sky Store app on iPad

I've paid for and downloaded films onto my iPad but I keep getting the following message:

Alert

Your session has expired as you have been offline for 0 days. Please open your Sky store app with an internet connection for a moment so we can renew your session. You'll then be able to watch your downloads offline. 

My iPad is connected to my home internet. I've updated the app and logged out and back in again. I haven't deleted the app as it says it'll lose all data and I'm worried I won't get my downloads back.

 

Any help would be much appreciated!

Have you tried disabling the Wifi connection  (if that is what you are connected to) then rebooting your iPad, enabling the wifi again and when it is cobbected back up try again with the app ?

Thank you @caesarome I didn't think of the old reboot trick 🙈 It seems to be working now!
