Sky Go won’t work since changing to stream

Hello all. I can't get Sky Go to stream anything.

 I have recently signed up to Stream  - I was previously a Sky Q user for years.

when I lo into Sky.com my new account is correct and everything seems fine, but Sky Go won't work on my iPhone or iPad.  I'm away from home at the moment (in the UK) and it's really frustrating.  I get a variety of error messages such as please check internet or sorry something has gone wrong, etc.  The internet I'm using is good with other tv apps working faultlessly.

when I activated my Sky account I got all the TV apps linked to my account no problem.  I can use Discovery + app fine on my Sky account.  Also Netflix.

I have tried logging out and in, reinstalling sky go all without success.  I tried the online sky help which was no use to me at all.  I can't really spend ages on the phone at the moment as I'm in hospital - I just want to see the F1.  Can anyone help please, thanks.

Update - I've just tried turning the WiFi off on my phone and found that Sky Go works fine on 4G.  Must be an issue with the hospital network - it's really fast so not a speed problem. Also other TV apps work fine on the WiFi including NOW and BBC, ITV, etc .  Wierd

We have seen posts before from others who are unable to stream in hospitals so it might be that such activity has been blocked on the network.

I could not even get the Forums on the free NHS wifi 😞

In my case the Wi-Fi is excellent at this hospital, nearly 400mbps down (a new hospital ) - all the other TV apps work great including Sky channels on NOW ( I have a few days left of a subscription) - so whatever the problem is it's not the speed or network restrictions on streaming. 🤔
