Hi, I'm trying to use Sky Go on an M3 Macbook Pro running Sequoia 15.3. It gets stuck on 'Downloading Update'. I've tried uninstalling completely, reinstalling with a new installer, and using different networks. Is there a way to get past this screen? Thanks

The Sky Go team looked into this problem and have now confirmed that the issue has been resolved, which should now enable users to complete the update.

Same issue here, MacBook Pro M3 Pro running same OS. No method of uninstall and reinstall fixed it.

I can't use Sky Go on my Mac it's just stuck 'Downloading Update"
I've deleted it and installed again from the website but guess what happens when you launch it. - it wants to do an update and gets stuck again.
Also Sky, this app is rubbish - It's still an Intel app which takes ages to open on newer Macs and why don't you just put it in the App store which would update it in the background - instead the updating process in the app frustrates me when I want to quickly watch something and I have to wait for the update.
I can see from my network tool that nothing is downloading (see screenshot)

Another Sky Go intel mac user suffering with an 'downloading update' which doesn't; leaving me locked out! Internet speed is good and re-downloaded the Sky Go app.

Must be a sky server issue surely?
ive deleted, rebooted and deleted again etc and still the same...."dowloading update" nonsense! 😡

My Sky Go app worked perfectly for the whole time i've owned my laptop (about a year), I tried to open it today and the application opens, the screen says "Downloading Update" with the Sky logo and then immediately closes. After waiting about an hour afterwards, thinking it needed time, the application still isn't working. I try opening it again and had the same issue. I turned my laptop off and on, tried again...nope. Uninstalled and reinstalled, tried again...nope. Changed my internet network to my phone data, tried again...still nothing.
Considering the amount that Sky charges, they provide possibly the worst streaming application on the market.
How do I fix this?

Same issue for me on my macbook pro. Was working fine this morning and signed back in and it's stuck on 'downloading update'. Sky Go on my phone is working fine. Please help???
