Windows 10 laptop, Dell Latitude. Was working fine up to first week of April. Checks for updates then I just have the white arrow. Nothing happens.
Have tried all suggestions, in the help topics uninstalled and reinstalled at least 3 times. Same result. Sky Go still works ok on my tablet.
I can find no other resolution to this and am getting frustrated.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? Or here's an idea - maybe a Sky engineer could sort it out?

You have said you have uninstalled it but did you do this which also removes files and folders the app uses:
Uninstall the Sky Go app and then go to 'C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming (ensure hidden files/folders are visible) and delete the following folders:
Sky
Sky Go
And if it is present the Cisco and/or Synamedia folder in App\Data\LocalLow.
Empty your recycle bin.
Reboot your PC and then download and install the Sky Go app again.

Wasn't suggesting they would, but if I can't get a resolution from a 'community' Sky has a responsiblity to ensure the products they're selling operate as expected. I would hope they have someone watching conversations in this forum.
Yes, I did all the removing of files, etc., etc., and have never has Cisco on my machine.
Nothing changed in my laptop or set up. It was working fine in March, then all of a sudden packed up in April.

I'm a simple person. I don't have anything special running and no weird programs. Just your normal MS Office, Chrome, Adobe..... all the low tech stuff on a regular laptop.

'Cisco' in this context is their VideoGuard encryption product which is a component of Sky Go.
