Sky go app now saying I need to upgrade my subscription to watch sky sports. I'm logged in correctly

Sky go app now saying I need to upgrade my subscription to watch sky sports. I'm logged in correctly and have the sky sports package. This has always worked before. I do I fix it?

I am having the same problem - trying to watch on laptop on skysports.com and it says I need a Sky Sports subscription which I already have. Please assist @Lisa-P1987 !

It takes me to the sky shop to buy a mobile phone...

 

I think there might be an issue because I had an old Sky account without TV subscription under the same email as my main account now with the subscription...

In that case what you need to do is to logout of the app and setup a new ID to use to login to it with.

 

If you want to use the same email address then you need to first remove it from the old account first so log into the old account here:


https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details


Then delete the email address by providing another one and logout of this account, this will then free it up to use when setting up your new Sky ID:
