Sky Go not working on Xbox series S

It keeps coming up with a black screen and says 'There was a problem streaming this channel. Please select another channel' there is also a code in brackets (016919dd) 


sky go works on other devices in the house and annoyingly, when I take my Xbox to another house, the sky go app works. It just doesn't work at my house. 

Has anyone had any issues or have any advice. I have restart the internet, removed the devices from the list and uninstalled the app. Still nothing! Unsurprisingly it does allow me to watch the 2 minutes of adverts before trying to watch something, but then the error comes up!

I have the same error code on my Xbox and I've already deleted the app and reinstalled it and still no luck. How can this be fixed?

I've got the same issue on Xbox Series X. Have got a new LG C3 TV with Series X connected via HDMI 2.1 cable; content starts to stream via app and then shortly comes up with this error and stops:

"Sorry but there was a problem playong the selected video, please try again" (016919dd)
I think it may be the TV as my old LG IPS TV doesn't have an issue

If your Xbox is part of the Insider programme then you can report issues via the "Xbox Report a Problem" app

Sky Go Not Working on LG C3 x Xbox Series X

I've recently purchased a new LG C3 OLED TV and hooked it up to my Xbox Series X to watch content as well as game. 

The SkyGo app is having some issues; content plays for 2-3 mins and then crashes with this error message: "Sorry but there was a problem playong the selected video, please try again" (016919dd)

I think it may be the TV as my old LG IPS TV doesn't have an issue. Could it be something to do with the 2.1 HDMI standard/content licencing?
