Sky Go not working. Xbox or mobile. Error

Non of my sky go devices are working (xboxs or mobile app) I so have the sky go extra included in my package.

 

Ive checked to see if there's a known issue and cant see anything. Wondered if anyone here had any suggestions.

 

On xboxs this shows on all channels......

Have they been working prior to this issue ?

Yes. Until yesterday they all worked fine.

 

Im.going to phone sky.

Rang Sky. Was told there was a new update for sky go apps and they are having major technical issues. And expect it to be fixed in 72 hours. Compensated me £10 of my next bill for the inconvenience. 

Still not working. But will see in 3 days.

They usually say that when they don't know what is cauing the issue so you haven't made any changes to your TV package recently, If not then see what happens if you try linking your account as per this:

I already checked re linking account and that's all totally fine. 

I can use the sky go app on my phone to send recordings to sky box etc. It just won't play anything on my actual phone. 

My sky account is compleatly linked. 

And nothing has changed on my sky account in about 6 months.

They've credited my account by £10 for the inconvenience if it all, whilst the issue resolves.

 

Hopefully it will be working by Monday. If not I will phone them back again and not be fobbed off.

 

When ringing them yesterday I had problems getting through on the phone. Kept getting message saying they are having technical problems and unable to continue with the call. Try again later. It took several hours of getting that message before it actually let me get to the automated, what's your problem, are you account holder etc etc.
