So every now and then a download will fail which is not a problem in itself, however after some number of re tries it appears to get abandoned. This leaves a state where it can neither re downloaded or deleted.
uninstalling the app (and having all your downloads deleted) is not a good option when the chances of having another issue when re downloading another couple of seasons is high. In any case that's the nuclear option akin to cutting your head off to cure a runny nose.
Any other options?

Most downloads on my iPad have a Delete Button but there are two at the bottom of my list that do not so I cannot play or delete.
I have seen suggestions to delete the App then reinstall but consensus seems that does not work.
Does anyone have a solution please?

I have a download from skygo on my android which I can't remove or delete or playm anything else I download I am able to delete seems it may be corrupt any help is appreciated or so I uninstall and reinstall app which seems a bit rash

I've seen a few posts regarding this but no resolution. I have failed downloads on my Sky go iPhone app that I cannot delete. Has anyone been able to resolve this? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the downloads are still there. There is no delete button - one has been on there for months and still cannot get rid of it.
