Sky Go for Windows doesn't open stuck on Downloading Update screen

Just downloaded and installed Sky Go on to my Windows Desktop. 

When you try to open the app it just shows a blue screen with Sky Go - Downloading Update. 

Stays on the this screen and is pretty clear nothing is being downloaded. 

I've tried redownloading uninstalling etc and no help.
