I am getting the above message on my Apple iphone, and my Sky TV/Box is under repair so not usable at the moment. How am I able to use the Sky Go App on my phone considering I am getting the above message? I wanted to download Skygo on my mobile phone so I can mirror it to my laptop so I can then connect my laptop to my TV so I can watch Sky on my TV until my Sky TV/Box is back to working (there is default in the building to the power).

I can't download the Sky Go app on my laptop as I am not in New Zeland and can't change my country to New Zealand as I don't have a New Zealand billing address.

Are you a Sky UK or New Zealand customer as this is a community for UK customers.

Problem 1: Sky Go won’t activate on the iPhone because the Sky box is offline.
Solution: Ask Sky to manually activate Sky Go on your account.

Problem 2: You want to mirror your iPhone to your laptop and then to your TV.
Not allowed — Sky Go blocks all mirroring.

Problem 3: You can’t download Sky Go desktop outside New Zealand.
Correct — region locked.

Possible workaround right now: 
 Try Sky Go Web in a browser: skygo.co.nz

 Or install Sky Go on a smart TV if supported
 Or get Sky Support to authorise mobile app access manually

I am Sky UK but the advice from previous posts is to change country location to New Zealand for it to work when downloading Sky Go from a Laptop which I am unable to do so as I don't have a New Zealand billing address (I am in London)
