Sky Go and Sky TV don’t sync
I use Sky Stream at home and Sky Go in bed. It’s frustrating that my watch progress doesn’t sync between the two, even though they’re under the same account. Other streaming services manage this easily, and it makes Sky feel behind. Is this something being worked on, or can this feedback be passed to the product team?

@RikkiPullen Sky Go is a legacy App for Sky Q it was never designed to sync with Sky Stream.

Re: Sky Go and Sky TV don’t sync
I have the same issue and agree that it's frustrating that two Sky products don't sync. Hoping for an answer from Sky.

Tha answer is it just doesn't sync (and that's all a script-reading contact centre person will tell you)
The reason is that the current Go app was developed by Sky to work with the Q platform before Sky Group was bought by the Comcast Corporation in 2018, and so was never integrated with the server-side services behind Glass & Stream (which came several years later and are built on the Comcast Global Technology Platform)
I suspect Go will eventually be replaced with Comcast streaming software, possibly at the same time as Q is retired as a technology, but Sky typically doesn't release information on such projects in advance of their deployment.
