Sky Go - Whats my Device Pin

Hi there,

I tried to watch Raiders of The Lost Ark Sky Cinema on my iMac. Sky Go asked for my device pin. I thought this was the pin I use on Sky Q (for age related movies and watershed etc) it said this was incorrect. I mean it was the right code, just not my device PIN.

I went on to My Sky and found my devices (6). My iMac is on there and i expected to find a PIN for each device, but no, that would be too easy.

I can watch the movie on my MacBook with no issue and no pin required.

I am able to watch normal TV programmes but not Sky Cinema for which I have a sub.

So, how do i establish what my Sky device pin is for my devices please?

@Ian+Horwood If you've forgotten your PIN it may be the last four digits of the phone number you have registered with Sky.

@Ian+Horwood

The pin for Sky Go can be setup here:

Re: Sky Go - Whats my Device Pin

Thank you for your help guys. I've sorted this now.

At the risk of looking foolish and for future reference for anyone else.

I went to watch the movie on the TV listings...  Mistake. When I went directly on to Sky Cinema On Demand I was able to watch any movie on my iMac without entering a device pin at all.

Fascinating stuff...

Cheers anyway

Ian
