Sky go is not working on my mac. Continuously receiving Error Code 1404 and saying Sky Q is currently unavailable. Sky Go works fine on phones and tablets under the same account.

Do you have a TV subscription from Sky ?
If you do try signing out of the app and then back into it.
Make sure you are logged in with the correct ID/email
Go to skyid.sky.com/signin/skycomlinked and enter details when it asks for your postcode. Account info will then be activated so try Sky Go again.

There are several discussions regarding the Sky Go app not working on Macs.
Sky Go App will not connect for me on my 2020 Mini Mac running Sequoia 15.2. It won't even open - nothing- zilch!
I have only just changed to a newer Mini Mac because Sky warned that my previous Mac Computer ran a now obselete operating system that could not be updated and would no longer supported by Sky Go. So, I have the most up to date Mac OS and Sky Go does not work at all. I am very unhappy. I have had no response from Sky. I called 'Technical Help' and they had no idea how to assist. I want to join a private discussion!
It seems from the vast array of posts across many discussions that there are major issues for Mac OS Sequoia users and the Sky Go App.
Sky, please communicate with your customers and solve the Sky Go App and Mac OS Sequoia user issues...
