Sky Go. Lack of Now & Next button

As Sky will not be supporting the Sky + app from May, I have started using the Sky Go app to remotely record programmes to my Sky Q box, but as there is no 'Now & Next' button, I can't look for programmes, some hours or even days ahead. This makes the app useless.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for as you can use the TV Guide (make sure it is set to record to box", select a channel then you can change the date to see 7 days ahead.

Re: Sky Go. Lack of Now & Next button

Thank you for your reply. I know that I can can look at individual channels, hours or even days ahead but with the 'Now & Next' button on Sky +, you can scroll across multiple channels to see what's on later today or even days ahead. That feature seems to be missing.

Many 'features' of the Sky+ app are missing from Sky Go because the current Go app is descended from the (now deceased) Sky Q app.  I suspect there's no ambition within Sky to replicate Sky+ functionality.

Re: Sky Go. Lack of Now & Next button

It's a pity that Sky wouldn't replicate what was on the excellent Sky + app. Thank you for taking the time to respond to my query.
