Since the 3rd June 2024 I've been ringing sky about my sky go stopping working on all of my devices, whether it be Apple or Android, or laptop also. This all worked perfectly up until then. Then the dreaded error 00-001 comes up.
I have followed the instructions from all 17 advisors I have spoken to both from sitting on hold for over 2hrs 43 mins and being hung up on to be told they don't know what the issue is.
I've uninstalled, reinstalled reset and in a few cases factory reset some of the devices yet there is no solution.
After my last conversation with a sky tech agent they said sorry there isnt anything we can do?
Couple that with not being able to manage my bill on my app now also I just get a red hazard sign and cannot progress any further.
It leads me to think how much sky actually care about customer care. I pay 113 a month for my sky glass and also 193 for my mobile services and my contract is due to end in June 2025 and I have spoken with Now and also Virgin and Also EE who are providing me with reassurance of services that will work and if they don't at some point will actually have someone at the end of the line to answer the phone and not leave me sitting there for over 2 hrs on my day off work to then be hung up on also.
I don't think I should have to rely on the community to find a solution for me either whensky themselves have done nothing to fix both my billing app issue and also my sky go too.
I'm beyond frustrated.

I'm not surprised so have you been a Sky customer in that past and left, if you haven't does linking your account here work:

Nope I've been with sky a few yrs now and the only thing I changed was my email address
Which all works perfectly with my mobile account etc but with my TV and Sky go even though I login fine I get the hazard sign and error.
