Sky Go Extra Upgrading to Multiscreen

I have up to now had Sky Go Extra as a VIP reward. I watch a lot of content on my tablet and it's my most used method of viewing.

I upgraded to Multiroom today as we've bought an additional TV for our kitchen. When I received the eMail confirming the Multiroom upgrade it says"Here's what you've asked us to remove - Sky Go Extra", which I definitely did not authorise when upgrading.

Further down the eMail says "Sky Go Extra is included when you've registered for Sky Go"

Can anyone confirm if this is normal when upgrading to Multiroom and if I will still be able to use Sky Go and have access to everything on my tablet I had before upgrading as I'm really confused?

I know with Multiroom you can have 4 concurrent devices but I can't find clarification how Sky Go Extra works/doesn't work with Multiroom.

hi @mbeamethyst

SKY Go Extra functonality is included within the Multiroom susbcription & is not listed separate which is why it would be listed as removed

Do not worry you can still watch and download recordings when connected to the same network as your main box etc as well as live content

@mbeamethyst

What has happened is Sky Go Extra via your VIP offer has been removed then it has been added back as you get it free via Multiscreen which is why it was listed as being removed then added !

With Sky Go Extra only you get 2 concurrent streaming but as you also have multiscreen you get 4.

Re: Sky Go Extra Upgrading to Multiscreen

Thank you for the explanations. Added bonus is now having access to recordings as well as downloads on my tablet, which is great for the channels unavailable on Sky Go (cheesy movies 😀).
