Sky Go Error

Sky might want to tell their technical team members that I spoke to on Monday about this then! 

The update installed on Saturday and then SkyGo stopped working. I was on hold for a total of 50 mins on Monday and got passed through to 4 separate people (whom I had to explain the issue to every single time) and none of them knew what it could be related to. They asked me repeatedly to do things I had said I had already attempted.

It was only on Monday night I realised it could be linked to an update.

I'm waiting for a callback from the 'technical team' about the issue, seems like I managed to get a solution before them 😂.

Anyway, let's hope they work with Microsoft more efficiently so that the next rollout of a similar update is specific to certain machines, not a catch-all that causes more issues than resolves them...

Additionally, just checked for updates and can now see the 8973 version of KB5101684. Fingers crossed that doesn't cause further issues and works on my device...

Manually downloaded update, installed the update (it took a while) rebooted and had to uninstall skygo and reinstall, skygo downloaded a fresh update and all is working again.

I'll try the three other mini PCs and see what happens with them, but for the moment this is fixed for me and hopefully everyone else.

just had a new windows 11 update installed so i downloaded sky go and it is now working so far

The last update KB5101684 (26100.8973) fixed the issue on my PC, while uninstalling the update KB5121767 did not.

All back up and running fingers crossed .swiched on windows update and it installed the one i wanted
