I'm having the same problem on my Dell computer and have deleted and uploaded files and removed hidden files - but still get the incompatibility error.

One thing that does and always has annoyed me over many years is the lack of feed back from the Sky software development team on the forum, it just winds people up and the forum moderators cop the flack due to their lack of information.

Sky haven't learned any lessons from feedback from customers on here over many years, at times it's almost like disdain for any criticism of their products.

I feel especially sorry for any of the customer support people on the phones 😕

I can't my pc is like fort knox and just will not let me remove em but also only have these listed anyway

@Quantumninja   KB5121767 is listed as being able to uninstall.  Just click on it and let it run,.

@Bri68    Yes that's where it is on mine too, that's the correct place.  When you scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on "uninstall updates" does it show on the list? If so, click on the uninstall button fot it and wait a few minutes. It will then ptompt youi to restart.

No it's not there I tried that so don't know how to uninstall it

Do not run disk cleanup as this deletes the update cache so you cannot uninstall any updates and they won't show up on the uninstall list.

If you have run cleanup and hence cannot remove the fix, then a refresh install is your only option as posted by me on post 75. A repair install by WU does not work as it does not remove the fix.

Also don't forget to pause updates for a while on the Windows Update page so that it doesn't re-install itself.

I had wondered if manually downloading the update and reinstalling it would allow it to reappear on the uninstall list, but it will not reinstall unfortunately.
