Sky Go Error

I was able to uninstall KB5121767 on my Lenovo laptop (it fixed Sky Go) but it wouldn't uninstall on my Asus.

Yes, as I said above. I logged in and all the relevant products are there.

There is nothing on the uninstall list when you go to uninstall updates.

3 PC's have 8894 installed and nothing in the uninstall updates page and doing a system restore does not work, I suspect it's because disc cleanup has run and binned the windows update install files.

Reinstalling sky go makes no difference.

This has been raised to Sky and we are awaiting an update

What Version of Sky Go are users having problems with e.g   26‌.‌1‌.‌2

Spoken to MS Preview Release support and they have passed back to Sky as other posters have noted in the thread, as it is just one app affected, Sky Go.

I've also raised feedback to the Sky Go Team to see if any further info will be forthcoming.

No idea which version of SkyGo......I think most of us are having problem and have unistalled the App due to what we think is a problem with Microsoft Upgrade .....

.....it appears this was distributed to pretty much everyone, when it was only designed for a number of Dell PC's/Laptops. Some of us are also making M$ aware.

• Tried a command prompt using wusa to remove 8894 update and it won't allow it. 
• This is a Microsoft issue not a sky go version issue.

@Quantumninja   I would suggest you uninstall KB5095189.  Go to the botton of the update history screen and select uninstall. 

And also pause updates for the moment till the issue is fixed.

I am running version 26.2.2

For reference I have 4 PC systems at home although only 2 use Skygo but I've tried the other two as well. All 4 PCs were updated with level 8968  (KB5101564) and all then experienced the problem.  Removing 8968 level on all 4 PCs resolved the issue. 3 went back to 8894 and one to 8875 as it never got the 8894 update (it was not in use for a few days).  Skygo level is 26.2.2.0.

My main box (HP) installed Windows 11  (KB5121767) patch  and SkyGo failed to start after that. I tried uninstalling the SkyGo App, cleared all folders in %AppData% . Rebooted, disc cleanded and cleared logs. Reinstalled SkyGo same issue when starting error 0xc0000045

SKYGo was working fine on ly laptop (Lenovo)  yesterday. When it closed down, It updated with the windows KB5121767 patch. Now Skygo wont work with the error 0xc0000045
