Sky Go App not working with Macs using Sequoia
Sky refusing to admit there is a problem with the Sky Go app on macs since Sequoia 15.1 dropped .
The issue is with the Sky Go app not the machines running Sequoia
About time Sky owned up to their poor performing app

Re: Sky Go App not working with Macs using Sequoia
(Removed)
Takes for ever to open, then crashes constantly since the last Sky Go update. Infuriating - going from something that was pretty much perfect on the mac, to this useless crap. Have even resorted to watching alternative solutions to watching the F1, as the app keeps crashing.
Moderator note: Removed inappropriate langauge

What was the inappropriate language?
Should I have said the Mac app is now garbage? It's about a month now, and still no fix. App just crashed again a minute ago.

Re: Sky Go App not working with Macs using Sequoia
SkyGo on mac has always been useless but I've managed with my old macbook for years. Just bought a new shiny M3 machine, excited to maybe actually be able to watch sky with fewer problems, and I can't even download the app...typical. I've followed every instruction from all the other discussions on this topic and still no luck. Very boring. Sort it out please Sky

Re: Sky Go App not working with Macs using Sequoia
M3 Max on Sequoia, was working perfectly until the last update.
Since the pushed update... I've been resorting to alternative streams to watch sports. Paying for a service, and not getting it, is insane.
I can't imagine how annoyed I'd be if I wasn't even able to install the app, nevermind it crashing and audio lagging.

Re: Sky Go App not working with Macs using Sequoia
I gave my new macbook a nights sleep to think about things, and today it has allowed the installer to run properly and I now have SkyGo! Im sure it still runs horribly and will qlitch constantly but at least I have it. I hope a nights sleep will work for the rest of you who are struggling.

Re: Sky Go App not working with Macs using Sequoia
Day one of trying to get the Sky Go App to work on a Mini Mac running Mac OS Sequoia. Repeated error messages saying 'could not connect' Error 001. Try Again. Contacted Sky Technical Dept by phone but they could not help. Like many others, I subscribe to Sky to watch Sport [Football] on my Computer. Now I am paying for a service that does not work at all.... Disappointed and frustrated. Any ideas?

Re: Sky Go App not working with Macs using Sequoia
So when I try to install the app it says not compatible with this device (MacBook Air 2022 running Sequola 15.1.1).
However ... if I add a new user with no other apps installed it runs perfectly. So Sky's incompatible message would appear to be absolute nonsense. But I still don't understand where the glitch resides.
I would attach a screenshot but don't appear able to.

Re: Sky Go App not working with Macs using Sequoia
Hi,
Any news on this?
I've not been able to use Sky go for most of 2025 now. I've tried all the 'fixes' mentioned in here and online. Nothing works. No help from Sky other than 'they are looking into it'.
Quite frustrating to be paying for a service I can't use.
