Hi,
I recently removed Multiroom from my SkyQ service (we never used the mini box & rarely watched TV via the Sky Go app). However I was extremely disappointed to find that I am now unable to use the app to browse the list of recorded programs & delete unwanted recordings etc via the app without having to disturb other users viewing on the main TV.
This functionality has been available since Sky+ (i.e., before Multiroom) & is extremely useful. Surely there is no reason to lump this functionality under the Multiroom banner.
Anyone else agree?
Anyone from Sky able to explain why we we need Multiroom simply to manage our recordings via the app?

By its very definition, using a separate screen to access/manage your recordings is Multiscreen. So, yes, it does require a Multiscreen sub.
Also, you are mistaken about being able to manage the Planner on Sky+ boxes via Sky Go. That functionality has never been possible.

As stated Sky Go is an extra device that you can view your recordings on which is why multiscreen is required.

Hi @oj01,
I never said that the functionality was available via the SkyGo app, there was a separate app for the Sky+ system that did provide that functionality, before Multiroom even existed as a service.

My apologies for the I correct naming @MightyQuin, but I fail to see why I can program a recording via the SkyGo app, but cannot tidy up my old recordings without having to pay for viewing the content remotely, when this was a function available on my older system wirhout needing to pay extra.

Hi @caesarome ,
yet I can still program new recordings via the SkyGo app, so why not manage them?
It would be an easy fix to enable this.

It probably would but in your case removing multiscreen from your package has caused this to happen. I can see what you are saying in that you should be ale to manage (but not watch) your recordings but this isn't something you can do without multiscreen on the account.
