Setting up my extra consoles

I bought into a new sky deal on December 22nd. My puck has arrived and working fine on one device. However I cannot add my X box to it. It keeps saying I needed sky q or multi screen. I was told by the sky consultant I could connect it to various devices (5 to 6 I think)

also I was already paying for sky sport via NOW tv on my LG TV. The sky consultant said this had been cancelled as it is included in the new deal. However I was charged again on 26/12 for sky sport and for ultra boost on 27/12 - these should have been cancelled.

@IanDouglas Are you referring to Sky Go?  as Sky Stream isn't an app on your Xbox.

Do you have the Whole Home subscription as that is required to view Sky on  more than one device?

Sky Go is ready and waiting for you on games consoles. All you need is either:

  • Sky TV Multiscreen, or;
  • Sky Streaming TV Whole Home, or;
  • Sky Go Extra

You can watch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Its worth noting that apparently for Sky Stream/Glass customers Sky Go Extra isn't available separately and you can only got via Whole Home

@IanDouglas

To be able to use the Sky Go app on your console you need either myltiscreeen if you are a Sky Q customer or the whole home be with Sky Glass and Stream. If you haven't either of these then it can be added for a charge of aboyt £5 a month so you would need to contact Sky about this.

Unfortunately while that's correct for computer, phone or tablet, use on  consoles and Apple TV boxes is different.

The sky consultant said this had been cancelled as it is included in the new deal.

Inclusion in a Sky Television bundle won't cancel the add-ons to Now: while both are Sky Group companies they are operationally independent.
