Service drop out & no connection

We frequently experience service drop out / failures but on checking the MySky app it is consistently telling us that there's nothing wrong.  What's also amazing is that the speeds quoted in the app are always constant with NO variation.
On using a third party speed checker we are getting very different results,  varying speeds and no connectivity at all yet Sky says it's all fine.

i just can't believe the Sky Spp!

@NUKTraveller

Have you tried a reboot of your Sky Q box at the mains ?

Your issue has nothing to do with Sky Go so your posts are here in the Sky Stream forum:

@BelfastSnapper  I'm not sure what this has to do with the Sky Go app where yu have posted, which service are you talking about here?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Service drop out & no connection

The service / speed checker lives in the App, does it not?

Re: Service drop out & no connection

I also have no connection to SkyQ through SkyGo app. Service checker says all good, WiFi connected. Still cannot see recordings? Why does MySky service checker app not pick up a connectivity fault? Bizarre! Tools and reporting not up to the job Sky?

Re: Service drop out & no connection

Although no problems located or reported, and router has all 4 lights green. A systematic complete re-boot of all Sky devices got the system working again. Shame Sky reports no issues and no problems, when clearly there were issues. Sky trouble-shooring clearly not working.
