SKY Go not working in Spain

I live in Dublin, Ireland am a custiomer of SKY Ireland and I am currently visiting Spain. My SKY GO App has an error message stating that I cannot watch Live TV or stream outside the UK.  It mentions that this is due to the UK leaving the EU!!!  Please explain why I cannot use SKY Go?

This has cropped up before: apparently Sky sometimes has problems differentiating between UK and RoI residency.
