SKY Go javascript error

What can you do if there is an issue preventing you from deleting the files or uninstalling Sky Go in order to reinstall the app? Blocked either way.

Same, I cant delete as it says open in another program... which it is not. very frustrating!

I have had the same error for the last four weeks after an upgrade to the SkyGo software. I am also using a Windows 11 Laptop.

Best reply i got and it worked was this:

Right click your Sky Go shortcut and "Open file location" and then delete SkyGo. This should let you re-install it

Hi All

I just encounter the same issue with the Sky Go javascript error. I was able to install sky go by right clicked to run as the administrator and over ride the java script error and install the sky go app. However there will be other sky go exe files that ask you if you want to download please cancel all of the other ones that are asking you to install on your laptop and hopefully you should be able to install the sky go app. I hope this helps.

This method did not work for me. I had to use the system settings to uninstall and remove the software completely and then reinstall, as a fresh installation, and that worked on Windows 11.
