Um it's now June 15th and the issue remains. Can you please provide an explanation as to why it's taking so long to fix something that was previously working. Many thanks

Of course I have read that post, it says that Sky are "actively investigating the issue" - that was over a month ago, very strange use of the term "actively".

What is confusing is I had a Sky engineer come out after the Sky Q box was swapped out. He said he couldn't fix it as it seem to be a software issue. I took my Android phone to a friend house who has a Sky Q box and I logged onto this box and set up recordings No issues. Get home to my Sky Q box and can't record anything from my phone. I spoke to their tech people in mid May and tgey said it would be fixed by beginning of June. Still faulty.
Only option is, it must be my router? Some S/W issue.

Try using data instead of wifi, the error still exists on either for me.

This is very frustrating for my wife who is the main user of our SkyQ box.
She is running Android 12 which wont let her set a recording whereas I am on Android 16 and it lets me do it no problem.
So I think this proves it is not a router/Sky box issue, it must be an Android version of Sky Go.

My android phone is version 11 and my Samsung tablet is version 12. Both don't work at recording Sky Go to my Sky Q box. But if I go to our friends Sky Q box, I can log onto their box and both phone and tablet record programmes.
I have found that if I go onto my Sky Q box, Setting, Status, watch via Sky Go, Reactivate, confirm. It comes back with Your Sky Q is not enabled to connect to Sky Go.
Anyone know about this issue. Why won't it enable and how do you enable it. The Sky engineer who came out last month says it does effect recordings!
