What are you trying to do @Tonsil6 as it isn't clear from your post ?

Do you want to set a recording from your phone to your Sky Q box ?

Do you want to watch a recording that is on your Sky Q box back via your phone ?

You can do this by installing and using the Sky Go app. Go to the TV Guide on the app and make sure "Record on Sky box" at the top of it is seelected then find whatever you want to record and select the content in question as you should then see the R button to set the recording.
