Since when have you needed a multi screen subscription to use sky go?
i only have one tv in the house, I used to be able watch tv with sky go in the garage, never had a multi screen subscription.
I can't remember the last time I used it, probably a couple of years but had to go into hospital recently and it would've been nice to watch sky tv on my phone but no joy.
This just added to the misery of being in hospital

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYou don't need multiscreen to use Sky Go unless you want to watch your records from your Sky Q box back via the app then you need multiscreen for that.
So other than that you should be able to use Sky Go so if you are having issues what is happening, the more details the better.

When I open the sky go app on my phone and try to watch content I get the message "to enjoy this service upgrade your subscription"
when I go into the menu on my skyQ box select "settings" then "watch via sky go" then "reactivate" then "confirm"
the "x" does not revert to a ✔️.to confirm that sky go has been activated
My sky Q box has an active broadband connection
and so does the phone I'm attempting to watch sky go on.
How do I resolve this?

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works:
https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147
When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

I've been checking here daily for any update on my issue.
I haven't had any replies or speech bubbles.

After eventually being able to speak to someone at sky, the sky Q department have informed me that a new policy has been put in place.
In order to receive sky go, you now need a multi screen subscription.
This didn't used to be the case, but it is now.
At least that's answered my question.
