ASUS C223N Chromebook - Fully up to date
Most recent version of Sky Go app
App opens fine and can browse all content but won't let me play any live, recorded or on demand content. App just crashes or returns to original screen when any play button is selected.
Please fix ASAP!

@catgilly1963 When you go to the app store, do you see on sky go that you can join the BETA testing?
I had the same issue as you, but @Shaun123 helped me ( see post 214)
If you see the bit about joining beta, then do it- it takes a few hours to get approved, but when you are you can download the newest version of the update.
My Chromebook is an Acer and touch wood the update seems to have fixed the issue

@Dmgdriving Thanks for that I haverequested to join Beta testing. How do yuo know if/when you have been approved. Do they email you?

@catgilly1963I never got an email, but when I checked back a few hours later it said I had joined and the update was now showing, so I gave it a go and it worked. Fingers crossed it works for you too.

Hello. I have an Acer 311 Chromebook with the latest software and firmware updates. I installed Sky go from the playstore. It worked fine for several years. It now is stuck on a loop, when you ask it to play a program it will look for it. The circle back to the guide. This seems to be a sky issue since their last update. Hopefully they will eventually sort this out. I hope this helps even if you can't use it at the moment..

All updates carried out as suggested and BETA version downloaded now getting error code 14

I feel confident is saying error code 17 is not a Sky error, Google your Chromebook Version and see if you can get instructions how to turn off vibrant colours. There is a chromebook setting interrupting live playback. I had to turn it off from day one of purchase of my book.

I am not finding any more updates beyond 22.3.1. I contacted sky to try to get beta version be told the fix isn't out yet and beta doesn't help. Why can't there be a consistent and accurate response from sky?

Asus 214MA, fully updated and running Beta Skygo app 22.4.1 and I have now got Sports channels working but error 14 on others. EPG time is well behind.
It's currently 2257 but EPG at 9.30pm and I have to click the play button to the left rather than the programme title to get them to play..

@Georgeaa1 have a similar issue with my Acer chromebook. See my comment above. Only way I can fix is to have the Taskbar on display...

When I tried to join Beta I get an onscree confirmation saying I'd get the beta version of the app installed automatically. Vhecked back 24 hours later, no update, tried to join again and told i was already in the scheme. another 36 hours later and still not got update. Instructions just said to install app if not done so already (I have got it) and it woudl update automatically. This is rubbish - Asus C433T chromebook on updated OS - and sky won't even enrol me in beta.
