@Chloe-W22 I've also attempted rebooting my Chromebook and not made any difference. I've not had any recent update to Sky Go on my Chromebook but it does show me being on v 22.2.1.1

Have latest chrome update, plus version 22.4 of Skygo and still not working. Won't play back recorded programmes nor play live TV. I totally rely on the Chromebook for Sky due to health problems and as previous posts have noted other streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime work perfectly on Chromebooks. The cost of a Sky subscription is very high - absolute disgrace that it is still not working after a month.

@Chloe-W22 btw, most recent update for sky go app to version 22.4.0 became available on play store evening 9th March- no further update since.
Thanks for keeping us updated on progress, would be great if we can get a permanent fix for this ongoing issue.

Have restarted chromebook as suggested and in so doing it updated to a newer Chrome OS (99.0.4844.57 (Offical Build) (64-bit)). Unistalled and reinstalled SKy Go app. Showing as v 22.3.1 but also states updated Feb 2022 so vn 22.2 referred to in chat must be older than that. Still expecting to see a version dated March 2022. Inevitably no change - app still reverts to home page rather than actually playing the programme. Survey completed. @Chloe-W22restart (and reinstall) hasn't made any difference at all.

Sat 12 March - just uninstalled and reinstalled app - still showing 22.2.1.1 version - where is this update and why isn't it available from Play Store?

ChromeOS Checked for updates. Now 99.0.4844.57 64bit. Acer chromebook 315. Sky Go reinstalled from Playstore 22.2.1.1 . Survey completed. Closes when clicking play button on a programme

Updated Sky app and Acer Chromebook with no change as others have said. App opens when I attempt to play anything closes down.

Dont bother with the survey its a sop to make you think SKY is doing something. The update is flawed on all Chrome Books no matter the spec.
If you use the Play Store app the March Update is NOT live, even beta, if you bypass the app and go to Play Store with a web browser on your device the update is there but is greyed out for Chrome devices.
Thank God BT Sport and Prime have some football for me to enjoy on my Chrome Book, hey SKY why not ask them for advice ?

I share the scepticism of @Shaun123 . If a fix was attempted on 10 March and there are some Chromebooks that now work, let Sky gives us the details.
