I've seen some threads about a new Sky Go trial last year. Did anything ever come of this?

I tried the app on Apple TV last year and wasn't impressed. Was wondering if a new app was due to rival the new EE TV one?

Im on the trial but due to the NDA I cant say much other than it's not a big step forward from the previous version.

Im considering switching to EE TV when my contract ends to see if its any better.  Not seen any reviews of their app yet on youtube so not sure what it will be like.
