Many years ago (before Sky had apps or netflix as part of its package) I subscribed to Netflix directly with Netflix (i.e. not through sky) using the same email address that I use (and did use when I had that netflix account) for Sky (the "My Email Account").
Long story short, I got divorced, stopped my subscription to sky and netflix, new relationship, new house and this subscribed to sky again using My Email Account as previously. Then through the sky app I joined netflix.
Now I want to use the android netflix app on my phone. I log into the andorid app on my phone using My Email Account and it logs me in and asks me to subscribe (which I am suprised by given I have already subscribed on the Sky app and assumed it would be under the same email address). Is it not possible to use the android Netflix app on my phone when I have subscribed through Sky? If it is, am I using the wrong email and password (how would I find the right email and password)? Is there another app I can use to watch netflix on my phone or on another tv?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYou need to be logging in with your Sky ID and password so is this what you are doing does your package allow you to view Netflix on another device as these are the packages:
Ultimate TV includes the Netflix Basic plan (1 screen + SD) as standard
You can upgrade to Netflix Standard (2 screens + HD) by adding the HD pack
You can upgrade to Netflix Premium (4 screens + UHD/HDR) by adding the Ultra HD pack (requires the HD pack first)
So you would need either Netflix Standard or Premium.

The Netflix app requires an email or phone number and password. The Sky ID is a username: right? If it is an email, where is it? Did not accept my Sky ID. Did not even accept my phone number as one linked to any account.
