Error opening SkyGo on iOS

Hi,

iPhone 11 running latest 18.11 iOS.

Downloaded SkyGo for first time and after entering username and password I get the error

'Sorry, something went wromng. Because of a technical issue, you cannot watch this channel. Please try again later.'

Tried deleting and rebooting iPhone.

I only have Sky Broadband so presumably this onlky works with the video package?

Try signing out of the app then reboot your device and then sign back into the app.


If that doesn't work then try linking your Sky ID to your account, help on doing this can be found here:

Also make sure your title (Mr, Mrs etc..) and surname is filled in here:

Thanks for thr eply.  I followed all your suggestions.  My name was entered wrongly in my SkyID but that didn't make any difference. I still get the same error.  MySky app works fine btw.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.
